The site\u2019s existing steam boiler system had to be cranked into action for each process, wasting production time as well as water.<\/p>\n<p>[show_gallery \/]<\/p>\n<h2>The Solution<\/h2>\n<p>Following a detailed site survey, ICS Cool Energy\u2019s engineers established that the factory\u2019s existing steam boiler system was too large for the required amount of power needed.<br \/>\nWith the site upgrade ICS Cool Energy provided a full turnkey solution and recommended changing from steam boilers to i-Temp ci 90t non pressurised water heaters. These heaters are capable of delivering highly effective water heating with maximum reliability for long-life productivity<br \/>\nAdditional new system benefits:<\/p>\n<p><strong>ICS Cool Energy\u2019s engineers recommended:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"c-bullet-list\">\n<li>New TCUs can monitor temperature and flow rates as well as provide reliable recipe control<\/li>\n<li>High grade, non-ferrous quality components<\/li>\n<li>C8 advanced controller and stainless steel heat exchangers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>The Result<\/h2>\n<p>Dave Palmer,\u00a0 ICS Cool Energy said;<br \/>\n\u201cThe concept of moving away from steam had never been considered before due to a concern that the power costs would be too high, however because our i-Temp ci 90t heaters only heat to meet the required demand, there are significant cost savings.\u201d<br \/>\nThe new i-Temp ci 90t, which is a specially modified unit for this process, was manufactured in stainless steel, making it ideal for the hygiene-sensitive food area.
