The cooling system at a London gym \u2013 part of a major national group \u2013 was failing, leaving customers and management \u2018hot under the collar\u2019. ICS Cool Energy was called in to provide an upgrade and an environmentally-friendly solution. And that needed to happen in double quick time with minimal site and business disruption.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

ICS Cool Energy had to deliver a total turnkey solution to keep gym users and the site\u2019s management happy. Time and space were tight and the new solution needed to be low energy.<\/p>\n

An Aptus Chiller was selected with integral heat recovery which allows for the collection and re-use of heat energy (usually wasted) which is collected and re-used by the site\u2019s swimming pool.<\/p>\n

ICS Cool Energy\u2019s Project Manager Allan Towns and Sales Director Richard Metcalfe planned the meticulous operation which included securing access from the neighbouring military site so the new chiller could be craned in and the old unit removed.<\/p>\n
