As part of an ongoing programme of temperature control upgrades, the latest completed project is a major investment in the installation of a robust back-up temperature control system.<\/p>\n
The latest bespoke system includes energy-efficient 800kW turbo chillers and cost effective adiabatic evaporative coolers that all but remove the risk of legionella as well as saving precious water – mains cold water is only used at plant when the ambient air temperature is higher than 15\u00b0C.
\nA sophisticated sequencer has also been added so the units \u2018talk\u2019 to each other, as well as the introduction of ICS Cool Energy\u2019s Remote-X that allows real time remote monitoring and alerts at each site.<\/p>\n
