Dry Air Cooler Fails in Freezing Conditions<\/h2>\n

A major soft drinks manufacturer overlooked a pre-winter maintenance check, leaving their cooling system without the correct dose of glycol which had caused their dry air cooler to freeze and fan coils to split.<\/p>\n

Their bottling line process cooling literally \u2018ran out of juice\u2019 during heavy snowfall and freezing conditions – putting production at a complete standstill.<\/p>\n

The ICS Cool Energy hire team were called upon and arrived on site the same day, after they arranged for a snow plough to clear the way for replacement equipment to arrive by lorry.<\/p>\n

The team worked through the night to install and commission\u00a0the Chiller 1000<\/a> with all the ancillaries, to ensure full production was restored by the next day – enabling the bottling of orange juice to continue and meet their customers’ demands.<\/p>\n
