A well-known yoghurt manufacturer needed to keep more than \u00a31million worth of stock cool, while essential maintenance was carried out on the warehouse\u2019s ammonia cooling system. <\/p>\n

The large warehouse sees the dispatch of more than 40 million pots of yoghurt every week in a 24\/7 operation, so maintenance of their system cannot be compromised and is carefully planned, for optimum performance. <\/p>\n

The planned shutdown lasts around 36 hours and with millions of pounds-worth of stock to protect, the yoghurt manufacturer needed a reliable and technically capable solution to maintain the correct levels of warehouse cooling.<\/p>\n

ICS Cool Energy was called upon to supply and install extra cooling and all the necessary equipment. <\/p>\n

Meticulous planning and timing of equipment installations and deliveries was needed to ensure the maintenance was completed in the allocated time and deliveries from the site were uninterrupted. <\/p>\n

Following an initial site survey, equipment was specified and thoroughly tested at ICS Cool Energy facilities, prior to the shutdown. 6 lorries were required to deliver the cooling equipment without interrupting the customers’ 16 lorries per hour.<\/p>\n
