The Challenge<\/h2>\n

When a boiler providing domestic hot water for a district heating system on a military base just stopped working, the ICS Cool Energy hire team quick-marched into action with a boiler hire replacement and installation that restored full working order so the buildings were once again comfortable places for work, rest and play.<\/p>\n

The Solution<\/h2>\n

A central boiler has provided good service to a district heating and hot water system serving a range of 1960\u2019s-built properties including housing, leisure centre, classroom and offices but its service suddenly packed up \u2013 making life very uncomfortable for the people living and working on site.<\/p>\n

The ICS Cool Energy team put on their marching boots and were on site within hours. A single boiler was the source of the problem as it served several buildings on the site.<\/p>\n

ICS Cool Energy delivered and installed a full \u2018island operation\u2019 system, with the strategic installation of various dual circuit boilers for each building, along with fuel tanks and the fuel management system which helps ensure the boilers don\u2019t run out.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Dual circuit boilers from the range 150kW-600kW<\/p>\n

\u2022 Housed within steel containers for weatherprotection<\/p>\n

\u2022 Packaged industrial hire boilers can be hired as complete packaged (flooded \/ run through) units or as single units with additional heat exchanger and calorifiers<\/p>\n

The Result<\/h2>\n

A full site inspection was carried out within hours of receiving the call and the installation of temporary equipment was carefully planned and prioritised, restoring hot water and heating to the residential properties as a priority. It \u2018bought\u2019 time for full repairs and maintenance on the existing system.<\/p>\n
