A construction company building an 11-storey building was looking for a heating solution to temper the inside and keep the works going during winter. Maintaining the temperature inside the building around 10\u00b0C without the wait for a better, warmer weather was needed to allow the indoor wet works to dry faster, speed up the works and eventually hand over the building faster.<\/p>\n

To find the right technology to keep the building warm and the construction going, the customer reached out to the ICS Cool Energy hire team.<\/p>\n

The building in question was already closed with doors and windows installed as well as a central heating system installation in place. Following a site inspection, the ICS team designed a circuit system combining a 200kW air-cooled reversible heat pump and a buffer tank connected directly to the building\u2019s heating system divider.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Result<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The plug-and-play heat pump solution from ICS Cool Energy hire fleet delivered 35\u00b0C hot water even at outside temperatures reaching -10\u00b0C, convincing the customer to apply this technology to their other constructions in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The customer chose the heat pump solution, despite initially also contemplating the use of mobile diesel boilers. The heat pumps proved to be maintenance-free and much more energy- and cost efficient when compared to the diesel boilers and taking the fuel prices into consideration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
