This rare but effective workaround, minimised disruption for the hotel and exemplified the teams ability to adapt transport methods to the circumstances and the environment on site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Urban environments often impose significant constraints, as was the case for a customer requiring installation of the new cooling equipment. In a confined urban courtyard with no space for lifting gear, ICS Cool Energy team manually skated the cooling units into position. The installation further required drilling through floors to reach the basement connections, showcasing meticulous planning and execution \u2013 including temporary systems maintaining the operations running during the process. It was a solution built on precision, planning and endurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When a server room\u2019s pipework failed, ICS Cool Energy acted swiftly to prevent downtime. The team installed temporary pipework across a grassy outdoor area, using scaffold supports, restoring cooling quickly and securely. Employing a thoughtful and efficient approach, the team successfully restored the system’s functionality without compromising the site’s integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Replacing a workers union\u2019s headquarters rooftop system faced significant structural barriers. ICS Cool Energy Engineers coordinated the removal of obstructions to crane-lift twin chillers into position, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime for the building\u2019s operations. The project showcased the value of teamwork, planning and structural adaptability in delivering solutions despite logistical complexities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A hospital required a replacement for its ageing cooling infrastructure serving operating theatres. The hospital’s plant room, located on the upper floors of the building, presented significant logistical barriers to dismantling the old system and installing new chillers. After thorough site evaluations, the new ICS Cool Energy chillers were carefully disassembled, transported to the restricted-access area using internal lifts, then reassembled and commissioned on-site. The old chillers left the building in the same way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The project successfully addressed the logistical complexities, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations. The upgraded cooling system now supports the hospital’s long-term stability, safeguarding essential healthcare processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n With no crane access for a rooftop chiller replacement, ICS Cool Energy used a custom scaffolding system built from ground level to the hospital roof, incorporating a hoist system for equipment positioning. The new equipment was flat-packed, hoisted, and reassembled on the roof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To prevent operational disruptions, temporary chillers ensured continuous cooling for critical medical areas.
