Heat Pumps by Barge: Entering Inaccessible Sites<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">Facing a heating system\u2019s failure, multiplied by the fact that road access to the site was completely unavailable, a hotel tasked ICS Cool Energy to deal with this emergency. By employing a practical approach and analysing available resources, the ICS Cool Energy team arranged for the heat pumps to be installed on and delivered via barge. The hospital&#8217;s plant room, located on the upper floors of the building, presented significant logistical barriers to dismantling the old system and installing new chillers. After thorough site evaluations, the new ICS Cool Energy chillers were carefully disassembled, transported to the restricted-access area using internal lifts, then reassembled and commissioned on-site. The old chillers left the building in the same way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">The project successfully addressed the logistical complexities, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations. Flat-Packing Hospital Cooling System and Scaffold Hoist Installation<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">With no crane access for a rooftop chiller replacement, ICS Cool Energy used a&nbsp;custom scaffolding system&nbsp;built from ground level to the hospital roof, incorporating a&nbsp;hoist&nbsp;system for equipment positioning. The new equipment was flat-packed, hoisted, and reassembled on the roof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">To prevent operational disruptions,&nbsp;temporary chillers&nbsp;ensured continuous cooling for critical medical areas.
