According to the Met Office, average UK summer maximum temperatures generally sit in the low\u201120s Celsius across much of the country, but recent years have shown how quickly conditions can escalate.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.metoffice.gov.uk\/about-us\/news-and-media\/media-centre\/weather-and-climate-news\/2025\/summer-2025-is-the-warmest-on-record-for-the-uk\">Summer 2025 was the warmest on record<\/a>, featuring four heatwaves and a highest temperature of 35.8\u00b0C in Faversham, Kent. With some regions increasingly experiencing sudden spikes well above seasonal norms, cooling systems and HVAC equipment can be pushed close to their design limits. <strong>Even brief periods of extreme heat can reveal issues that go unnoticed during milder conditions<\/strong>, including electrical vulnerabilities, fouled heat\u2011exchange surfaces, drifting sensors, refrigerant leakage, or deteriorating water quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote eplus-wrapper is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\" has-text-align-center eplus-wrapper\"><strong>The implications for manufacturers can be severe: reduced cooling capacity, equipment failure, product waste, energy inefficiency and unplanned downtime that can cost hundreds of thousands of pounds.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">For any operation relying on stable temperature control, early preparation is essential.
