The Challenge<\/h2>\n

In order to remain flying, the police helicopters must be regularly maintained and overhauled. This work can only be carried out in a temperature controlled environment to allow the aviation engineer to work safely. When their heating system failed at a regional airport, this left the police helicopter grounded. A temporary heating system was urgently required.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Solution<\/h2>\n

Following a site survey a 40kw electrical heater<\/a> was specified. This replaced the sites gas powered heater which had broken down. The failure was due to an interruption of the gas supply. The electric heater was installed complete with a generator to provide the electrical power complete with a bulk fuel tank to ensure enlarged operation between refuelling.<\/p>\n
