A customer wanted to lower the temperature of his mains water going into a pastry mix for a trial vegan sausage roll project.
The customer on this occasion did not want to go to the expense of buying a stainless steel tank etc. and dedicated permanent chiller (as it was early stage product testing) so we supplied a temporary chiller with a food-safe calorifier to provide the chilled water they required.
The calorifier was connected to their cold-water feed to allow batch feeding to three separate processes.
The result has been one happy customer, who now has the peace of mind they can run the hire chiller for as long as their trial lasts and the confidence that we can offer longer-term hire or capital purchase solutions should the trial be a success and develop into full production of their new meat-free product.
