ICS Cool Energy Enhances Preventive Maintenance Plans for Temperature Control Process and Industrial Equipment

New service packages help customers ensure their temperature control installations remain operational and efficient over their maximum lifespan.

ICS Cool Energy, an international market leader specialising in complete temperature control solutions for manufacturing process and facilities applications, introduced today new Planned Preventive Maintenance plans, enhanced to offer one of the industry’s most comprehensive service packages for process temperature control equipment.

The new ICS Cool Energy Preventive Maintenance Plans are available in four levels:
ICS Service, ICS Service+, ICS Protect and ICS Protect+, offering partial to full coverage for all brands and models of temperature control equipment.

The service packages include over 100-point checks, the usual regulatory F-Gas checks, and a selection of multiple options to ensure the equipment is reviewed over thoroughly and given a clean bill of health. These include:

  • In-house water treatment and quality tests that provide a detailed plan to help treat the water and return it to the required quality.
  • Courtesy hire option offering four weeks of critical equipment hire included in the service contract and available at any time during the period of the service contract.
  • Business Continuity Plans offering bespoke contingency plans in case an emergency solution is needed. This includes hire equipment and support with infrastructure upgrades to address necessary space and power constraints on site.

With a service level tailored to their application and business needs, customers benefit from the assistance of an extensive team of over 70 fully qualified service technicians that provide 24/7, 365 emergency and planned support across the UK. All ICS Cool Energy technicians are trained in-house and proficient in different makes and models of temperature control equipment. For customers peace of mind, they are also fully conversant with the current F-gas regulations safe handling of refrigerants, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and Health and Safety Risk Assessment Regulations.

Each Preventive Maintenance Plan customer is assigned a dedicated Service Account Manager. Serving as the key point of contact for all service-related questions and support, the account manager can also provide advice on energy efficiency upgrades of the systems including free cooling, variable speed drives, heat recovery products and other enhancements.

“Industrial and process applications depend on process temperature control systems to keep their operations and businesses running. Equipment that is improperly maintained can fail to provide the required level of efficiency, shortening its lifespan and increasing operating costs” said Alistair Michie, service operations leader at ICS Cool Energy. “With our upgraded Preventive Maintenance Plans we give our customers the tools and support to keep the equipment in optimal shape, minimise the energy consumption and limit downtime.”
