Planned Maintenance

Planned maintenance – are you prepared for summer?

The hot summer weather can put additional strain on your temperature control equipment. Unless your equipment is regularly and professionally maintained, it is more likely to breakdown. This can cause your business expensive repair bills and costly downtime. Planned maintenance is therefore crucially important to your temperature control equipment.

We offer a comprehensive maintenance plan to help save you money and keep your process coolers, heaters and HVAC equipment operational. No matter the weather or demands put on the equipment, we can tailor a solution for you.

Our packages can be tailored to your individual requirements and include:

  • Water quality check and laboratory analysis
  • Reduced labour rates
  • Discounted spare parts
  • F-Gas Compliant
  • Glycol check
  • Prioritised calls & 24 hour support

Water quality check and laboratory analysis

It is really important to the operating efficiency of your chiller that the water used in your chiller is of good quality and the correct pH balance. The quality of water used will also affect the longevity and reliability of your chiller too and therefore should be monitored regularly.

As part of our Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) plans we will carry out water sampling and laboratory analysis. This allows us to determine the current quality of the water used in your cooling system. If any defects are found outside of the recommended parameters, our Service Technicians will put together a plan to help return your water to the required quality.

Reduced labour rates

Depending on the nature and cause of your equipment breakdown, there might be a lot of work required to repair it. It will then need testing to ensure it’s fully operational. Under our PPM plans, customers receive reduced labour rates on any additional work that may be required.

Discounted spare parts

The more you use your temperature control equipment, the quicker the internal parts will wear out over time. Our Parts Team are able to provide parts at a reduced cost to customers on the plan. Our dedicated team of national Service Technicians carry a wide range of spare parts in their vans. The are therefore able to supply and fit spare parts for most breakdowns on their first visit.

F-Gas compliant

If your temperature control equipment has fluorinated gases (F-Gas) within them then your business must comply with European and UK legislation. As the gases contribute to global warming if released into the atmosphere, it’s important to ensure your equipment is not leaking. It must also be compliant with the current phase down requirements. Our Service Technicians are fully F-Gas trained and will ensure your equipment is safe and legally compliant.

Glycol check

Glycol is an anti-freeze solution that helps prevent the water in your cooling system from freezing. Subsequently, it helps prevent pipes from bursting due to expansion of water when it freezes. It can be tempting to top up and mix glycols and use uninhibited glycols. However, doing so can lead to formula separation which clogs filters, strainers and pump suctions. It can also reduce its transfer properties. Our glycol check will determine the quality of your system glycol and whether a flush and re-fill is required. This will help keep your equipment operating efficiently.

Prioritised calls & 24 Hour Support

Our expert team of support staff are on hand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  to help keep your process and comfort application temperature control equipment operational. We are just a phone call a way from resolving a wide range of problems.
