Cold storage solution to cover shutdown period works @ Food Manufacturer
ICS Cool Energy are still supporting our valued customers through lockdown.
Our hire team recently provided the perfect temporary cooling solution for a food manufacturer, vital to keep their industry running.
The company needed to replace some ammonia pipework over the Christmas shutdown period and as a result needed cold storage to cover this downtime.
Following a socially distanced site survey and adhering to all Covid secure rules and guidelines, we delivered 2 x VLT 60s, 2 x dry air coolers, 3 low temperature fan coils and food grade glycol on Christmas Eve.
Our objective was to cool both storerooms down to -12 with 105kW of cooling spread across the rooms (70kW room 1 & 35kW room 2).
The customer chose ICS Cool Energy because we offered the best solution, had equipment in stock and available for delivery exactly when they wanted it and within budget.
Ultimately, our solution achieved the desired temperatures and the customer was able to resume normal service on reopening after the Christmas break.
