Portable Air Conditioners (PACs) are a great way to provide localised cooling during hot weather. PACs come in many different sizes and configurations allow localised cooling to be delivered in even the most demanding site circumstances. At ICS Cool Energy we stock vented and split units. Vented unit provide cooling from a single unit located inside the area being cooled and rejects waste heat through a ducting similar to a domestic tumble dryer that can be directed outside through a window or purpose installed grill. Split units consisting of an internal cooling unit and an external heat reject unit joined by “umbilical” lines of varying lengths.
