Bradford depot officially opened

ICS Cool Energy’s bigger and better 30,000ft2 depot at Bradford has been declared officially open, providing an additional UK hub and distribution point for stock that’s ready for speedy delivery nationwide.

The new facility, which replaces the previous site at Caspian House, East Parade, represents a £2 million investment from the privately-owned company. It comprises 5,000ft2 office and training areas, 25,000ft2 warehouse and equipment servicing and test facilities, together with extensive yard and car parking spaces.

ICS Cool Energy’s new facility was officially opened by Bradford City FC’s co-owner, Edin Rahic, and Chief Operating Officer, James Mason, along with one of ICS Cool Energy’s founding directors Jeff Spolnik and director Adam Spolnik, both of whom are lifelong City fans.

In addition to a long term commitment to business in the city, the company actively supports Bradford City Football Club, where there’s also been new investment under the new joint owners Stefan Rupp and Edin Rahic. ICS Cool Energy currently sponsors the scoreboard which has been part of the club’s Upgrade the Parade initiative.

It was business founders Jeff Spolnik and Phil Wilson who recognised the strategic importance of the location in ICS Cool Energy’s early days, as they looked for a second site to support customers in the north of the country.

Mr Spolnik said: “As a Bradford man, I’m particularly proud of this latest move to bigger premises which is our sixth move in the city over a period of nearly 30 years. It demonstrates our commitment to the area as we’re looking ahead to yet more steady growth, with Bradford representing an important business hub for the UK.

“This most recent expansion of our UK operation will enable us to be even more responsive to our customers not just in the home market but through our group businesses in Ireland, Germany, Benelux, Switzerland and France. We’ve an ambitious growth programme to deliver efficient and effective heating and cooling solutions to a vast array of industrial sectors.”
