ICS Cool Energy Expands its Service Plan Offering to Empower Customers with Risk-Aligned Service Choices

The remodelled service plans simplify risk management and help match service cover, cost certainty and operational responsibility to customers’ business needs

ICS Cool Energy an international market leader specialising in complete temperature control solutions for manufacturing process and facilities applications, today announced its newly expanded and remodelled service offering, reinforcing the company’s investment in expert service support across the UK. The enhanced portfolio, now including
ICS Flex plans, provides greater flexibility and transparency, helping customers choose the right level of risk and coverage for their operations.

The new service portfolio comprises four tailored plan pillars, each with additional options across multiple categories: ICS Service, ICS Protect Lite, ICS Protect and ICS Flex. At the core of the portfolio is one of the industry’s most comprehensive planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes, with more than 100-point checks across all brands and models of temperature control equipment. This helps ensure systems are thoroughly inspected, operating efficiently and maintained in full working order. Together, these plans reflect the different ways customers approach risk management, offering a progressive range of options from essential planned preventative maintenance through to enhanced cover with increasing levels of support, cost certainty and responsibility transfer.

The addition of ICS Flex and ICS Flex+, reflects the cooling-as-a-service offering, which combines a fixed monthly cost with no capital outlay and a greater level of responsibility transferred to ICS Cool Energy. This gives customers another way to secure reliable temperature control while reducing the financial and operational burden on their own teams.

“The updated portfolio has been developed to make it easier for customers to assess how much risk they want to retain internally and how much they want to transfer to a trusted service partner,” said David Roberts, Service Sales Manager at ICS Cool Energy. “The result is a broader, more clearly structured range of service plans designed to align with different operating models, maintenance priorities and budget requirements. The new structure follows careful evaluation of our existing packages and reflects extensive feedback from our customers across process industries.”

“By aligning the service plan structure more closely with risk and responsibility, customers can more easily compare options and select the right fit for their site, equipment strategy and business goals,” continued David Roberts. “Whether they want a more traditional maintenance arrangement or a solution that delivers greater certainty and outsourced responsibility, the new structure provides a clearer path to the right level of cover.

To strengthen nationwide customer support capabilities and respond to growing demand for closer support throughout the service contract lifecycle, the company has expanded its regional coverage with two new Regional Account Managers supporting the North. Emma Anderson joins the business with a strong background in sales and account management across hospitality, communications, and service-focused industries. Kayla Shaw returns to ICS Cool Energy, having previously worked in the hire team specialising in cold storage. She brings extensive expertise in service and equipment hire sales, with a strong track record across temperature control, HVAC, and technical solutions.

These developments further strengthen ICS Cool Energy’s position as a leading temperature control partner for process industries, reflecting its ongoing commitment to service excellence, operational growth, and customer support. The company’s 2025 move to a new full-scale depot and warehouse in Birmingham, alongside its locations in Totton and Bradford, further enhances its ability to deliver shorter lead times, improved logistics, and increased availability of units for hire and purchase across the UK. Backed by more than 70 nationwide engineers, 24/7/365 technical support, dedicated Service Account Managers, and the UK’s largest rental fleet, ICS Cool Energy is well positioned to provide responsive, reliable, and scalable support to customers nationwide.
